Make sure that you and your student take a minute to sign up online. If you need a new information page contact your student's teacher and they will send one home. If you need to use a school computer please contact your child's teacher.

(just be ready to stop, drop everything and read)

(Students wear pajamas and bring pillows/blankets)

Story book Character Dress Up Day (Teachers will do reading activities all day long)
The second week of the Read-A-Thon is also Red Ribbon week where the students will be learning to stay drug free. What better way to do this than with reading!
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is coming up October 27 - 31. In addition to classroom guidance lessons during the month of October addressing healthy lifestyle choices, we will also enjoy the following theme "dress up" days:
Monday, October 27: Make Your Dreams Come True! Pledge to be Drug Free (wear red clothing)
Tuesday, October 28: Peace Out to Drugs! (wear tie-dye or a neon-colored shirt)
Wednesday, October 29: Team Up Against Drugs! (wear your favorite sports team apparel or a college t-shirt)
Thursday, October 30: Hugs Not Drugs because Drugs are Unbearable! (bring a teddy bear to school)
Friday, October 31: Go Green -- Don't Let Drugs Pollute Your Life! (wear a green Taylor Duck shirt)

Six Weeks Awards
Six Weeks Awards
NPE will have its second six weeks awards ceremony on Friday, November 7th.
Third Graders will be recognized at 8:30am
First Graders will be recognized at 9:30am
Second Graders will be recognized at 1:30pm
This will be held in the cafeteria, visitors may park in the back parking lot and enter through the cafeteria doors.
